Each concert will be 30 minutes (approx) and will be followed by a Q&A session with the performing artist(s).
The concerts will be live on Zoom. We have done all we can to achieve the best possible audio experience but we can only work within the bounds of the technology available at present. We advise using headphones.

Friends since their early twenties and members of the much loved BBC Big Band, award winning vocalist Claire Martin OBE and world class vibraphonist Anthony Kerr have been waiting a long time for a chance to play together and this duo opportunity was too good to miss! Celebrating their love of the Great American Songbook their concert will include songs by Cole Porter, Gershwin, and Victor Young. Just four mallets and one voice - it's quite a rare combination and one we hope you'll enjoy.
Linn recording artist and BBC Radio 3 presenter Claire Martin has spent the last 30 years honing the craft of jazz singing. To worldwide critical acclaim she has established herself as a tour de force on the UK jazz scene gaining many awards, including winning the British Jazz Awards seven times along the way.
Thanks to her jazz-loving parents, Claire grew up in a household full of great music. After leaving stage school she became a professional singer at 19 and two years later she realised her dream of singing at Ronnie Scott’s legendary jazz club in Soho. Signed to the prestigious Glasgow based Linn Records in 1990, Claire has since released 18 CDs with the label, collaborating with musical luminaries including Martin Taylor, John Martyn, Stephane Grappelli, Kenny Barron, Richard Rodney Bennett and Jim Mullen on many of these recordings.
Anthony Kerr is long-serving soloist with the BBC Big Band, Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames as well as his own ensembles, his unique and passionate style has drawn influence from Milt Jackson, Bill Evans, Gary Burton, Bobby Hutcherson and others.
Anthony is also an established and respected jazz educator, having coached ensembles at the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as well as being professor of Jazz Vibraphone at London’s Royal College of Music - a position which he has held for more than 20 years.
His long list of associates reads like a who's who jazz and includes such artists as Charlie Watts, Cleo Laine, Chico Freeman, Pete Long, George Shearing, Guy Barker, Benny Golson and Peter King.
In this solo vibes concert he takes classic jazz compositions and arranges them in his own unique style turning the three octaves of the vibraphone into something of an orchestra.
