Each concert will be 30 minutes long and will be followed by a Q&A session with the performing artist.

The concerts will be live on Zoom. We have done all we can to achieve the best possible audio experience but we can only work within the bounds of the technology available at present. We advise using headphones.

Scott Edmunds, solo piano

Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Scott Edmunds is an active pianist, composer, and educator.  Scott has had opportunities to perform with many influential musicians in the jazz genre, such as Tim Warfield Jr., Wycliffe Gordon, Marshall Gilkes, Carla Cook, and Dick Oatts, as well as with acclaimed musicians on the European scene such as Perico Sambeat.  Scott has similarly had opportunities to perform at festivals and venues such as The Kimmel Center, Chris's Jazz Café, and South Jazz Club in Philadelphia; Fat Cat, Rockwood Music Hall, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola and The Appel Room at Lincoln Center in New York City; and Jamboree Jazz Club in Barcelona, Spain

Passion, Freedom, Improvisation, Groove, Emotion: Jazz, all of the above is offered to us by this interesting musical proposal. After accidentally meeting on stage, Viktorija and Joan have joined their artistic talents to show us their personal vision of some jazz classics, Bossa Nova and even movie soundtracks.

Viktorija has released three albums as a leader "The Only Light" 2019, "Stories" 2017, and "Nica's Blues" 2013 featuring original compositions. Viktorija's voice sounds in "Voces" - the latest big band album of renowned Spanish saxophonist Perico Sambeat.

Joan Soler is one of the most recognized Spanish jazz guitarists, an exceptional musician, he has an elegant synthesis of tradition and modernity that make him a reference guitarist in the Spanish jazz scene.

In 2011, Viktorija won 3rd prize at the The Nederland Jazz Vocalisten Concours for her completely original arrangement of the famous standard “My Favorite Things”, featuring a solid bass line, modal harmonies and odd time signatures. The show was broadcasted on Radio 6 The Netherlands. 
 In March 2012, she found herself performing as a solo artist with PCC Sympho-Jazz orchestra conducted by the legendary John Clayton. In July she performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland. 
Viktorija Pilatovic Quintet was an opening act for Chris Dave and Drumheadz at Vilnius Mama Jazz Festival involving artists as: Wallace Roney and Ravi Coltrane.
She performed her original composition “We Could Solve That” with the internationally renowned bassist Victor Wooten in Valencia, at Spain’s iconic Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia performing arts complex.
In 2013 she moved to Quito, Ecuador to teach private classes of Jazz Vocal Performance at USFQ College of Music, Berklee College of Music International Network Member School. In 2016 she moved back to Europe.
 Viktorija recorded with Perico Sambeat's Big Band "Voces". As well as Xavier Monge's "Poemes Dispars".

Albert Sanz, solo piano and voice

Albert Sanz is a very special musician. His Spanish and South American musical background mixed with his knowledge of the Afroamerican jazz tradition and the European classical tradition make him a unique, lyrical and inventive voice on the piano.

As a composer Albert has the ability to make the old seem new. Albert's sixth and latest recording as a leader is "O que será" (Unit Records), a tribute to the great brasilian songwriters Chico Buarque and Ivan Lins.

 As a composer "he seems to revel in the unexpected. His tunes move in utterly delightful ways, with enough harmonic activity to challenge the improviser and attractive melodies to pull in the listeners"( all about jazz NY). He has toured and/or recorded with the bands of Kurt Rosenwinkel, SilviaPerez Cruz & Javier Colina, Jorge Rossy, Guillermo Klein, Perico Sambeat, Jorge Pardo and Antonio Serrano to name a few.

 Albert was born in Valencia and grew up in a very musical family. He received the Sgae "Tete Montoliu award" for the jazz revelation artist and the Turia award as a musician of the year. He currently combines touring with both his own and other artist's projects, and teaching.

Vocalist and Songwriter Rosalie Genay divides her time between London and the second most ordinary town in The Netherlands from where she is currently collaborating on several international projects.

2020 will see the release of two exciting albums: ‘For The Love of Annie’, a jazz collaboration with Scott Hamilton, Barry Green, Dave Green and Steve Brown and 'In Between The Silence', a debut offering of original material with London based guitarist Francesco Lo Castro.

The long awaited albums follow the acclaimed release of  ‘Realms’, a personal take on the work of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen and subsequent UK tour with pianist Rebecca Nash.

Barry Green’s star is rising high on the European Jazz scene. He has accompanied, led and recorded with many of the world's leading Jazz artists including: Dave Friesen, Bobby Watson, Perico Sambeat, Charles McPherson, Deborah Brown, Ben Street, Drew Gress, Chris Cheek, Tom Rainey, Gerald Cleaver, Stan Sulzmann and many more.

A unique opportunity to hear Scott Hamilton playing in a trio setting..

Scott Hamilton was born in 1954, in Providence, Rhode Island. After a move to New York in 1976 at the age of twenty-two, and through Roy Eldridge, he got a six-week gig at Michael’s Pub. Roy also paved the way for him to work with Anita O’Day and Hank Jones. During this period he also played with Illinois Jacquet, Vic Dickenson and Jo Jones. Pianist John Bunch got Scott his first recording date, for Famous Door, and was also responsible for him joining Benny Goodman. He continued to work with Goodman at different times until the early 1980s. In 1977 he formed his own quartet, which later became a quintet, with Bunch added to the group. He started to record for the Concord label and along the way he has made albums with Dave McKenna, Jake Hanna, Woody Herman, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Flip Phillips, Maxine Sullivan, Buddy Tate, Warren Vache, many with Rosemary Clooney and several with another of his mentors, Ruby Braff. Over the years Scott has also performed and recorded with such touring bands as the Concord Jazz All Stars, the Concord Super Band and George Wein’s Newport Jazz Festival All Stars.
