Each concert will be 30 minutes (approx) and will be followed by a Q&A session with the performing artist(s).
The concerts will be live on Zoom. We have done all we can to achieve the best possible audio experience but we can only work within the bounds of the technology available at present. We advise using headphones.

Last booking closes 30 minutes before the start of concert to allow time to process payments and send out the meeting ID and password. Guillermo Rozenthuler, voice & guitar Javier Fioramonti, acoustic-electric guitar
Two Argentines and a shared passion: Guillermo Rozenthuler and Javier Fioramonti uncovering the wonderful diversity of Argentina's Folkloric musical landscape.
Guillermo Rozenthuler is a versatile vocalist, guitarist and composer based in London. Since 2000, has been bringing together South American music and Jazz in his own projects, Rioplatenses and Candombe!, and in previous collaborations, albums and tours with the Orient House Ensemble, Tango Siempre, Tina May, Edward Simon and many others. He is about to release two new records in 2020, one with the London Tango Orchestra and the other with award -winning German ensemble Sexteto Cristal.
Javier "Chino" Fioramonti is a guitarist and bass player with a strong interest in Latin music. He has studied Tango and Folklore with some of the living masters of these styles such as Lucho Gonzalez and Anibal Arias. He’s performed in Roberto Pla’s and Alex Wilson’s bands, also with well- known Latin artists like Henry Fiol ,Azuquita , Maelo Ruiz. His playing is very rooted rhythmically and at the same time emotionally engaging. He has toured extensively over the UK and Europe with Salsa Celtica and is currently the composer/arranger and MD of his own project, The Mantecas.

Roz MacDonald - bass Béla Meinberg - piano Jordan Dinsdale - drums
The trio have been playing together for a relatively short period of time, but quickly established a strong connection mostly due to being interested in the same kind of music. They will play some new music that Roz has been writing during the last year, along with some more well known pieces.
Roz Macdonald is a Scottish double bassist currently living in Berlin. She studied at Leeds College of Music where she received the Yamaha jazz scholarship in 2015. She’s also been lucky enough to study with some jazz greats including Greg Cohen, Drew Gress and Doug Weiss. She’s currently working on a new trio album after being awarded a grant from German based organisation ‘Musikfonds’.
Béla Meinberg is a German pianist, based in Hamburg and Berlin. He has worked with some of the finest jazz musicians around including Billy Hart, Seamus Blake, Matt Penman, Chris Cheek, Doug Weiss and John Stowell. His playing characterises a lyrical approach, always swinging and a good sense of humour.
Jordan Dinsdale is an English Jazz musician hailing from the city of Bradford in the North of England, now residing in Berlin. Jordan has studied with some of the greatest teachers of this music, most notably Jimmy Cobb. Since moving to Berlin and has recorded a debut trio album with Greg Cohen and Declan Forde; FORDE/COHEN/DINSDALE. He is a member of the Doug Weiss Berlin band, a quartet set to release its debut album soon.

Frank Harrison - piano
After taking up a scholarship at Berklee School Of Music, Boston, Frank returned to England and joined the Orient House Ensemble playing all over the world at major Jazz and World music festivals. Frank has also performed with Tim Garland, Peter King, Julian Arguelles, Bobby Wellins, Julian Siegel, Don Weller, John Etheridge, Louis Stewart and Iain Ballamy.
He leads his on trio and apart from his work as a sideman he has recorded 5 albums as a leader, all to high critical acclaim, and a duo album with Brigitte Baraha.

Yaala Ballin Sings Irving Berlin - Album Release:
Yaala Ballin Sings Irving Berlin was released in January 2021 on SteepleChase Records. The album is based on a concert called "His Name Was Israel Baline", which presented the composer's works and stories about his life. The CD includes a wide variety of Irving Berlin's songs and features a world class trio.
Born and raised in Israel, vocalist Yaala Ballin moved to New York City in 2004. She has recorded 3 albums – "Travelin' Alone" (Smalls Records), "On The Road" (Gallery Records), "Live Session" (Gut String Records) – and was recently featured on "The Music Of Duke Jordan" (Steeplechase Records) with the Chris Byars Septet, for which she also wrote original lyrics. In addition to appearances in New York City (Smalls, Smoke, Birdland), she tours frequently in Europe and has been featured at festivals and concert series in the Middle East. She was a Vocal Jazz Instructor for the U.S. State Department program "Jazz Futures" (2008 – 2013), a six year cultural diplomacy program administered by the U.S. Embassy in Cyprus, and has conducted workshops for the State Department in Ukraine and Turkey. She has been on faculty at the City College of New York's Vocal Jazz Department and at the Center For Jazz Studies at Tel Aviv Conservatory ( affiliated with the New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City ), and regularly conducts master classes in the U.S. and internationally.

Ray Gallon - solo piano
Celebrating the release of his new trio album “Make Your Move” on Cellar Live, featuring David Wong, bass and Kenny Washington, drums.
Pianist Ray Gallon has been a mainstay on the jazz scene for over thirty years. Rooted in bebop and blues, his expressive, swinging playing melds old and new into a fresh, original style. As a young player, Ray was taken under the wing of piano giants John Lewis, Hank Jones, and Jaki Byard. He has performed at major jazz festivals and venues around the world with such luminaries as Ron Carter, Lionel Hampton, Art Farmer, Benny Golson, George Adams, Les Paul, and Wycliffe Gordon. Ray has appeared at the White House and the Kennedy Center, sharing the stage with jazz legends Dizzy Gillespie, Milt Jackson, Sweets Edison, and Joe Williams. An in-demand accompanist, he has worked with many vocal greats, including Jon Hendricks, Sheila Jordan, Dakota Staton, Gloria Lynne, Jane Monheit and Chaka Khan. Ray's inventive compositions have been recorded by acclaimed artists T.S. Monk and George Adams. His upcoming trio album, Make Your Move, features the stellar rhythm section of David Wong and Kenny Washington, with liner notes by Ron Carter. Ray is a full-time faculty member of the jazz program at The City College of NY in Harlem and the Vermont Jazz Center’s Summer Workshops and has taught classes at Juilliard and The New School.
